I've been enjoying evening walks on the beach. It's turtle season and the big females are coming up on shore to dig their nests and lay their eggs. I've had the pleasure of seeing this phenomenon a time or two. Now I'm thinking it's time for me to create a turtle pendant and have been making some initial sketches.
If you have never seen the little ones emerging from the sand, it is quite a thing to watch. The erupt like a living volcano and then march straight for the sea. Some say they follow the glint of the moonlight on the water. I'm not certain. But I am certain that there is turtle jewelry coming soon...
